Three were arrested with a mobile meth lab Friday afternoon in Washington Court House.
The Washington Court House Police Department reports that they had responded to Wal-Mart in reference to three people causing a disturbance. The caller stated they were buying items commonly used in the manufacture of methamphetamine.
They had left in a 1997 Jeep while officers were en route, but it was stopped on Clinton Avenue at the Marathon gas station, where the back-seat passenger ran from the vehicle and was stopped by police officers.
The K9 unit was called and alerted officers to the driver's side. A black backpack was found in the back seat that contained a methamphetamine lab.
Charged with illegal manufacture of drugs were: 38 year-old Jennifer M. Finley and 27 year-old Matthias G. Moosbarger of Washington Court House; and 27 year-old David L. Payne of Lynchburg, who was also charged with obstructing official business.
