Organizers for repeal might not have enough signatures
The deadline to turn in an additional 71,000 signatures is Thursday and it doesn't look good for internet cafe supporters.
The Committee to Protect Ohio Jobs initially turned in 434,000 signatures, but only 37 percent were valid voters. The group also failed to meet a requirement to get a certain percentage of voters in half of the state's 88 counties.
Spokesman Mark Weaver says they'll made a decision today (Thursday) on whether or not to even turn in the additional signatures they've collected. If they don't the law goes into effect immediately.
