Two women took five children from their baby-sitters
Greenfield Police say two woman are expected in court today after the reported abduction of five children from a Spring Street home Friday night.
The children were being watched by one adult and one juvenile, when the children's grandmother and aunt entered the home without permission. The two, identified as 49-year-old Bonnie Davis and 26-year-old Michelle Davis got into an argument with the baby-sitters, where the baby-sitters were assaulted and all five children were taken by the Davis'.
Sheriffs deputies assisted with the search, and later that night, Greenfield police located the grandmother with the five children at an address on Coffee Road near Leesburg. A short time later Highland County sheriff deputies located the aunt at another location and took her into custody.
The children were returned to their mother and were physically unharmed. Bonnie Davis and Michelle Davis were both arrested and charged with five counts of abduction, felonies of the third degree, and two counts of misdemeanor assault. Both were brought to the Greenfield jail where bond was set at $52,000 each.
On Saturday at 1:30am, Bonnie Davis suffered a medical condition and was transported from the jail to Adena Greenfield Medical Center by EMS. She was later transferred to Grant Hospital in Columbus.
