Terry Quickle was charged in the incident, Tuesday.
A person found with methamphetamine now faces drug-related charges. Hillsboro Police say they were sent to the Speedway gas station on West Main Street at
5:30am, Tuesday, on a complaint of suspicious activity.
Police later found a vehicle matching the description a short time later and stopped it on Oak Street.
Authorities say passenger 36-year-old Terry Quickle was found with a small bag of white powder, which tested as methamphetamine. The Police K-9 also found two syringes near where Quickle was sitting.
Quickle was charged with possessing a drug of abuse and possession of meth.
