James Faust receives money to be donated to non-profits locally

A Highland County farmer has won $5,000 which will be donated to a couple local non-profits.

James Faust, of Hillsboro, was selected as a winner of the America's Farmers Grow Communities program. He applied to win $2,500, which ended up being doubled by the Monsanto Fund because his community was declared a disaster due to drought.

Faust has selected Highland County Farm Bureau Grain Rescue and Lifeline Food Program as the recipients.
