A 20-year-old Hillsboro woman was also charged for damaging a vehicle.
A Hillsboro woman was arrested for underage consumption, Wednesday. Police say they were called to Southern State Community College where a student said she was pulling out of a parking space when an unknown woman opened her driver's side door, began screaming, and demanded a purse, money, and phone.
When approached by another person, the woman then allegedly kicked the person's vehicle door and then went into the college.
Authorities say they found 20-year-old Samantha Midlam on the floor of the men's restroom. Police believe she was intoxicated as she couldn't stand nor speak in complete sentences. According to police, Midlam said that she drank two beers.
She was arrested and charged with underage consumption and criminal damaging, both misdemeanors.
