A WCH man was picked up on outstanding warrants

A Washington Court House man was arrested over the weekend on outstanding drug related charges. Fayette County Sheriff’s deputies conducted a traffic stop on Old US 35 in Jasper township Sunday.

While checking, deputies discovered the operator of the vehicle had a bench warrant from Washington Municipal Court. The vehicle operator was arrested and during a pat down of the operator, deputies located a clear plastic bag containing marijuana. Deputies then conducted an inventory search of the vehicle prior to being towed and located a glass pipe.

22-year-old Clifton Wilson of Washington CH was arrested and charged with Speed, Driving Under Suspension, Possession of Marijuana, Drug Paraphernalia and Contempt of Court from the Bench Warrant.
