Council heard about concrete pavement over asphalt and retention ponds
Washington City Council received updates last night on the Leesburg Avenue reconcostruction project. City Service Director Joe Burbage detailed the reason that a concrete street will be preferable over asphalt.
Burbage was also asked about the placement of retention ponds in neighborhoods. He says those areas will be fenced-off to protect children who might wander off to those areas.
The next meeting of the City of Washington will be held on February 27th in council chambers.
