Authorities say 63-year-old Phyllis Rea was pronounced dead at the scene.

A Greenfield woman died in a single-vehicle crash in Washington CH, Friday afternoon. The Sheriff's Office reports 63-year-old Phyllis Rea was driving along SR 753, north of the Rock Mills and Good Hope Road intersection, when she drove off the road, spun into a ditch, and crashed into a group of trees.

Officials say Rea was not wearing a seat belt and was pronounced dead at the scene.

The route was closed for nearly two and half hours while members of the Sheriff’s Traffic Crash Reconstruction Unit conducted their investigation.
