The accident occurred on US 22 in Fayette County.

Two people were injured in a crash in Fayette County, Monday. According to the Fayette County Sheriff's Office, Tracy Brill, of New Holland, was driving west on US 22 near Bogus Road, failed to see and struck the westbound county transportation vehicle in front of him, which was driven by Dale Matthews, of Washington CH.

Both vehicles went off the road. Brill and Matthews were taken to the Fayette County Memorial Hospital for treatment.

A passenger in the transportation vehicle was not injured in the crash.

Brill was cited for assured clear distance ahead.
