The state department of transportation calls the new website a tool to help you avoid sitting in traffic.

ODOT Director Jerry Wray says unlike the current buckeyetraffic.org this new website will be available on your mobile phone.

All of the information on the site comes from the state's traffic management center in Columbus along with the Ohio Highway Patrol.
