The accidents occurred Thursday and Saturday of last week.
Four people were sent to area hospitals as a result of two separate injury crashes that occurred last week in Fayette County.
The first incident occurred last Thursday when Clyde F. Darst of Sedalia, Ohio was traveling south on U.S. 62 NE and collided with the rear of a vehicle operated by Gregory B. Barger of Baltimore, Ohio that was stopped in traffic to make a left turn onto Washington-Waterloo Road.
Darst and Barger both reported minor injuries in the crash.
Darst was transported from the scene by Fayette County E.M.S. to Fayette County Memorial Hospital for medical treatment. Barger was checked at the scene by E.M.S. personnel but declined medical treatment.
Darst was cited for Assured Clear Distance Ahead.
The second crash occurred on Satuday when Ashley N. Slater of Jeffersonville, Ohio pulled from the stop sign at Green Road to proceed onto S.R. 38 NE and pulled into the path of a vehicle traveling north on S.R. 38 NE operated by David Efrain of South Solon, Ohio.
The two vehicles collided in the intersection.
Three occupants in the Efrain vehicle reported injuries in the crash and were transported from the scene by Fayette County E.M.S. to Fayette County Memorial Hospital for medical treatment. Slater and Efrain reported no injuries in the crash.
Slater was cited in the crash for Failure to Yield and Driving under Suspension.
