A three-vehicle accident on the east side of Washington Court House injured two Friday.
According to the Fayette County Sheriff's department, Steve E. Davis of Leesburg was driving a 2002 Chevrolet truck west on U.S. 22 SE, and made a left turn onto Old Chillicothe Road. But he turned into the path of an eastbound 2011 Chevrolet passenger car driven by Melinda Wightman of Washington Court House.
The collision between the Davis and Wightman vehicles caused the Davis vehicle to collide with a 2011 Toyota passenger traveling north on Old Chillicothe Road, driven by Patty Sexton of Washington Court House.
Wightman and a passenger, Robin M. Wightman, were injured in the crash and transported by Fayette County E.M.S. to Fayette County Memorial Hospital for treatment.
All vehicles sustained disabling damage and were towed from the scene.
