State tax program helps keep over 600 jobs in the region

Governor John Kasich says 17 projects have been approved by the Ohio Tax Credit Authority, which are anticipated to create more than 1,300 jobs and retain 2,728 jobs statewide.

Collectively the projects are expected to result in more than $45 million in new payroll and $259 million in investment across Ohio.

One such project involves Stanley Electric U.S. Co., Inc., of Madison County. Stanley Electric, which produces automotive lighting, expects to retain 605 existing employees and $29.9 million in existing payroll as a result of the company’s retention project in the City of London.
