Stabbing Suspect Sought

46-year-old Jeffrey Armstrong is wanted in connection with a stabbing in Highland County.

Highland County Sheriff’s Deputies and Detectives are searching for a suspect in an Tuesday morning stabbing that occurred on Sorg Road in Concord Twp.

The Sheriff’s Office received a 911 call from a female that stated she had been stabbed multiple times by a male acquaintance. Upon arrival, deputies located a 29-year-old female victim with multiple stab wounds to the upper torso face and head. The victim, although suffering from stab wounds, was alert and talking to investigators while being removed from the scene.

The suspect, who was identified by the victim as 46-year-old Jeffrey L. Armstrong of the Cincinnati area, who had fled the scene on foot before deputies arrival on the scene. He was last seen at the south dead end of Point Liberty Road in southern New Market Twp.

Armstrong is a white male standing 5'10 and weighing 200 pounds, with brown hair. He was last seen wearing black shorts, blue T-shirt and no shoes and was carrying a black overnight bag.

The victim is currently in stable condition at an unnamed medical facility to protect her safety.
