Alleged Gunman In Custody

Fayette County Sheriff's Department apprehends shooting suspect Thursday.

The alleged gunman from the June 11th shooting in Washington Court House has been taken into custody by the Fayette County Sheriff's office.

Fayette County Sheriff Vernon Stanforth reported deputies observed a van being operated by a subject matching the description of William Pointer, 33, of Trotwood, Ohio. The van was stopped on State Route 62 south of Washington Court House where Pointer was identified and taken into custody without incident.

Two other subjects were located inside the van and taken into custody.

The passenger was identified as April Wilson, age 20, the alleged victim of the June 11th shooting. The third occupant has been identified as Tremayne l. Adams, age 38, of Dayton Ohio.

Charges are pending against the two occupants as the investigation into the June 11th shooting and traffic stop continues.
