Miami Trace Schools Facing More Lawsuits

Superintendent Dan Roberts, Teacher Christie Wilt and Aide Kelly Chaffins were named in the lawsuit

Miami Trace Schools are reportedly facing more lawsuit's related to a case where a special needs student was bullied by a teacher and a classroom aide in April.

WBNS TV in Columbus reports that at least two more students have filed lawsuit's against the 30-year-old teacher Christie Wilt, former teachers aid 46-year-old Kelly Chaffins, as well as Superintendent Dan Roberts.

The station reports that Austin Cooper claimed he was called names and made fun of by Wilt and Chaffins, and has filed a lawsuit. No details of the lawsuit were listed.

The School has already reached a $300,000 settlement with the family of the 14 year old student who went to school with a recording device and recored Wilt and Chaffins.

Wilt was to take an anti-bullying course that she was required to have completed by June 1st.

Chaffins was asked to resign by the school.
