Two semi-tractor trailers crashed in separate instances, Friday.
The Sheriff's Department responded to a series of accidents on I-71 in Fayette County, Friday. In separate cases, two semi-tractor trailers rolled over on I-71 near the 72-mile post due to high winds. Lorrain Browning, the driver of the northbound semi, was not injured; however, a southbound driver, Johannes Roos, was injured when her vehicle rolled onto its side. She was taken to Fayette Memorial Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Shortly after, Kortney Kin crashed into the back of a vehicle that was stopped for the southbound semi accident. No one was injured, but Kin was cited for assured clear distance ahead.
