Not guilty on three counts and mistrial on a fourth.
Jurors in the Pickaway County murder trial reached a decision, Monday: not guilty and no verdict.
Brent Cox, who was accused of being the gunman in the fatal shooting of Rodney Metcalf last October, has been exonerated on 3 of the 4 murder charges; however, jurors decided on a mistrial on a murder count, as well as, the counts of aggravated robbery and petty theft.
It's now up to the prosecution to decide whether to pursue another trial on the three undecided counts.
Earlier, Don Shepard pleaded guilty to his role on related charges of involuntary manslaughter and aggravated robbery. He was sentenced to 16 years in prison for his participation in the attempt to steal cash and drugs from Metcalf.
