The crash occurred on State Route 41 in Highland County.
A Chillicothe couple was flown by medical helicopter to OSU Hospital Tuesday night after their motorcycle collided with a deer on State Route 41 near Cynthiana.
The Ohio Highway Patrol reports that 42-year-old Jack Birchfield and his wife, 37-year-old Beth Birchfield, were riding in Highland County when they struck the deer at about 11pm.
Both victims sustained serious injuries, with Mrs Birchfield in critical condition at the time of her flight to OSU via Air Evac from the scene and the driver, Mr Birchfield, was in stable- but cautious condition at the time his flight from the parking lot of Paint Valley High School.
