Traffic Stops Leads to Drug Arrests

A man and woman from Hillsboro were charged after being stopped on North High Street.

Hillsboro Police arrested two people Monday night on drug related charges, following a traffic stop in the city.

22-year-old Kyle Ross along with his passenger 19-year-old Savahanna Mauk, both of Hillsboro were arrested after police officers discovered heroin, prescription pills and $5,400 in cash.

Ross, who was driving with a suspended license, he was also charged with Trafficking in Drugs and Tampering with Evidence.

Mauk was charged with Tampering with Evidence and Possession of Illegal Drugs.
