Dozens of people gathered Friday to help fix up the Mowreystown park.
The community of Mowreystown came together today to do some fix-up work on Diehl Park. Kara Juillerat is a teacher at Whiteoak High School, that helped spear-head the effort as more than 80 students showed up to work sanding and painting picnic tables and much more.
Juillerat says it has been fun seeing how everyone came together to make this happen. One area business donated 18 tons of sand for the volleyball court and playground and another business donated more than $500 worth of materials.
