Here are some ways to get an instant mood lift
1. Tell a good joke. Hearing someone laugh triggers a response in your brain related to smiling.
2. Pull out a photo album. A British psychologist conducted an experiment testing mood before and after a person gazed at photos of loved ones. The photos gave a 11 percent lift in mood.
3. Be affectionate. A study showed that women who got several hugs a day from their husbands had significantly lower blood pressure than those embraced less often.
4. Ask a co-worker how she's doing. A study in Spain showed that professional support -- including a good relationship with coworkers -- leads to more satisfying work.

Guys don't make passes at girls that.... have kids?
Women are more likely than men to date someone who has kids. (Who's surprised about that?)
That's according to a new survey by dating sites Date.com, Matchmaker.com and Armor.com. The poll of the sites' members was inspired by the recent split-up of Jon and Kate Gosselin.
The aim was to find out how datable Jon and Kate are -- considering they have eight kids. And as the survey and the tabloids have proven, Jon should have an easier time meeting someone than Kate.
Men were almost 50-50 on the idea of dating a woman with kids, but that changed significantly when the number of kids hit three.
Only 18 percent of men said they'd be willing to date a woman with three or more kids. And only three percent would date a woman with eight kids. Sorry, Kate, life isn't fair!

Katie and Priscella Churcher somehow manage to share the same husband.
The sisters, along with their, husband Travis, were raised in Fundamentalists Mormon families. So when Katie and Travis were married, they discussed the possibility of having plural wives in the family.
After a few years, Travis began pursuing Priscella and the two fell in love. Since polygamy is illegal, they were married in an unofficial church ceremony. The three now live together, each wife having her own room, and Travis alternates between.
