The McClain Lady Tigers trailing by as much as 18 points in the 1st half rallied in the 2nd half & defeated Madison Plains Monday night at Greenfield.
 
McClain Tara Karnes picked up 2 fouls in the first 90 seconds of the game & 2 minutes later Katy Unger picked up her 2nd foul in the game & Lady Golden Eagles led 14-3 after the 1st quarter.
 
Plains continued to dominate in the paint area & was up by 18 points before McClain cut the deficit to 28-13 at the half.
 
The 2nd half McClain outscored Madison Plains 20-5 in the 3rd quarter to go into 4th period at 33 each. McClain kept up the pressure & hit their free throws in the final period & went on to their their 6th straight win & now go to 11-11 overall.
 
With the win McClain ties for 3rd place with Washington CH & Madison Plains at 8-6 in the league.
 
McClain was led by Shania Massie with 30 points, Tara Karnes had 12 points/11 rebounds & Sarah Thompson had 9 points/11 rebounds.
Madison Plains led by Abby Finney with 14 points, Casey Knisley had 13 & Kaylin Dill had 10 points.
 
McClian was unofficially 25 of 34 from the charity stripe & Golden Eagles was 8 of 9.
 
McClain had 19 turnovers---10 in the 1st half & Madison Plains had 13 turnovers.
 
Greenfield plays Saturday at 2:45pm against Unioto in a sectional championship game at Zane Trace High School.
