Miami Trace used a big second half to blast Clinton Massie 48-35 Saturday to stay alive in the SCOL girls basketball title hunt.
The Lady Falcons could of won the outright title with a win, but the Lady Panthers victory draws them even in the loss column, and opens the door for a co-championship if they beat East Clinton Monday.
After a first quarter Miami Trace lead of 10-5, Clinton Massie outscored the Lady Panthers 20-8 in the second quarter for a 25-18 lead at halftime.
MT's defense went into high-gear in the second half, holding the Lady Falcons to one field goal in the third quarter and only 7 points in the fourth quarter en route to their 48-35 win.
