Weather forced half of the Friday SCOL boys basketball games to be moved back.
 
Miami Trace at London will be played Saturday (January 26th) & the East Clinton at Madison Plians game has been moved to Tuesday February 5th.
CLINTON-MASSIE 46, GREENFIELD MCCLAIN 40
Massie stays perfect in SCOL play after a tough road win Friday night. It was the 2nd time meeting between the schools in the last 10 days. C-M won on January 15th 52-44.
Tigers trailed thru most of the contest being down at 1 point by 10 points & trailed 32-25 going into the 4th quarter. They battled back in the final minutes but couldn't get closer than 4 points before C-M hit their free throws to clinch the win.
Cory Saddler led the Falcons with 11 points, Tyler Uetrecht & JD Curtsinger had 10 points each.
 
For the McClain Tigers Ryan Faulconer was their leading scorer with 12 points & John Turner had 9 points.
Clinton -Massie is now 11-2 overall & 8-0 in the SCOL & will play at East Clinton Saturday for the 2nd time in less than a week. They defeated the Astros 61-52 just this past Tuesday. After that on Tuesday the 29th they will host Washington CH in a big showdown of the top 2 teams in the boys basketball league standings.
McClain is now at 5-12 overall & 1-9 in the SCOL & will play next Tuesday at East Clinton. The Astros are the only team in the SCOL that McClain has defeated this year (49-38 on December 21st)
WASHINGTON CH 56, HILLSBORO 54
Derek Shaw hit a 15 foot jumper with 1.6 seconds left to clinch the Blue Lions win at Hillsboro on Friday night.
 
Hillsboro had just tied the game on a Jarrod Hart three point shot with 13 seconds left in the contest.
The win helps Washington (12-4 overall/7-2 SCOL) keep pace with Clinton-Massie in the SCOL boys basketball race.
 
The two will face off against each other starting with the Blue Lions traveling to the Falcons home court next Tuesday January 29th...then C-M comes to Washington on Saturday February 9th.
In the Blue Lions win over Hillsborom Conner Eckles led Washington with 18 points & Derek Shaw added 14.
 
Blue Lions shot 50% from the field & hit 8 threes including 4 of 4 in the second half.
Hillsboro (6-9 overall/2-8 SCOL) was led by Jordan Captain with 21 points & Jarrod Hart with 18.
 
Indians will play at Leesburg Fairfield Saturday in a non league contest.
