WASHINGTON CH 54, CHIILICOTHE 50
The Lady Lions snapped a two game losing streak and ran their record to 5-6 overall with a win on the road at Chillicothe.
Turning point was an 8-1 run in the last 100 seconds of the 1st half that gave the Lady Lions a lead and then expanded it to double digits before a late run by the Lady Cavs closed it to the final 4-point margin.
Washington won despite a 32-point performance by Lady Cav Bri Dawes.
Washington travels to East Clinton Saturday afternoon for SCOL action.
CLINTON-MASSIE 53, WAYNESVILLE 22
The Lady Falcons, facing the loss of Sydney Brackenmyer possibly for the remainder of the season, used balance scoring to defeat the Lady Spartans.
Brackenmyer suffered a knee injury last Saturday in the Clinton County Holiday tournament, and her status may force the Lady Falcons to be without her services for awhile.
Kasey Uethrecht led the (9-2) Lady Falcons with 17 points.
Clinton-Massie plays 2nd place Madison Plains in a big SCOL encounter Saturday afternoon with reserves starting at noon.
HILLSBORO 64, WAVERLY 44
The Lady Indians looked rested after a two week holiday break and chalked up their 3rd win of the season Thursday at home against the Waverly Lady Tigers.
Kaylynn Bell led the Lady Indians with 20 points and 10 rebounds. The difference was a Hillsboro 21-8 run in the 3rd quarter that opened up the game in their favor.
Hillsboro plays at Miami Trace Saturday night.
