The annual Holiday Basketball Tournament that was started by officials of Miami Trace and Madison Plains over 10 years ago as a 4-team tournament has changed formats this year and its name.

The McDonald's of Fayette County and Jamestown Holiday Basketball Shootout has switch to a 4-games-in-a-day shootout format this year.

Most but not all the games will feature teams from the Ohio Heritage Conference against schools from the SCOL.

The boys and girls reserves squads played Thursday at London High School and Middle School.

Friday, the girls varsity schools will play at Jamestown Greeneview High School.

    Schedule: 

     2pm---Springfield Central Catholic vs. Madison Plains

     4pm---Clark Southeastern vs. Dayton Meadowdale

     6pm---Cedarville vs. London

     8pm---Greeneview vs Miami Trace 

On Saturday, the boys varsity squads will play each other at Miami Trace High School.

    Schedule: 

     2pm----Springfield Central Catholic vs. Fairfield Union

     4pm---Cedarville vs. London

     6pm---Greeneview vs. Madison Plains

     8pm---Clark Southeastern vs. Miami Trace

Tickets are $6 each on Friday and Saturday, which are good to watch all 4 games at each site.
