MADISON PLAINS 55, EAST CLINTON 38 

The Madison Plains Lady Golden Eagles are 7-0 for the season and in a three-way tie for 1st place in the SCOL after a 18-10 fourth period clinched their 3rd win in the SCOL this season.

The Lady Eagles had a 9-point lead (37-28) going into the 4th quarter when they open up with a 4 1/2 minute 16-3 run that clinch the contest.

The 7-0 start is the best in school history for the girls' basketball program.

Abby Finney led the Eagles with 11 points, while Macy McCollister added 10.

East Clinton now drops to 2-4 overall and 1-2 in the SCOL.

Amber Ostrander led the Lady Astros with 11 points who have lost three in a row.

Madison Plains is tied with Miami Trace and Clinton-Massie for 1st place and will play the Lady Panthers, Saturday night, at the Panther Pit.

UNIOTO 65, GREENFIELD MCCLAIN 34

The Lady Tigers were playing their 4th game in 6 days and couldn't stop the Lady Shermans.

Greenfield was led in scoring by Lauren Rayburn with 15 points and Tara Karnes with 12.

Unioto, at 5-1 overall, was led by Alexis Overly, who had 13 of her 21 points in the 1st half.
