Trailing only 16-10 after the 1st quarter Washington saw the Braves exploded for 22 points in the 2nd period & 14 more in the 3rd to put the game away. The Lions were outscored 36-15 in the middle periods.

Braves Dillion Young had 22 points to led 4 Braves in double figures. Garrett Phipps led Washington now 0-2 with 10 points.

Washington travels to Madison Plains this Friday night for their SCOL opener.


JONATHAN ALDER 50, LONDON 45
The Red Raiders dropped to 0-3 after a non league loss Tuesday night vs. the Pioneers.

London led 23-16 at the half but were outscored 34-22 in the 2nd half of action.

London was led by Zac Carey with 12 points & Sully Minner with 11.

Mike Yoder led Alder with 14 points.


GIRLS

BELLBROOK 58, CLINTON MASSIE 47
The Lady Falcons were handed their 1st loss of the season after the Panthers hit 42% from the field in the contest that included hitting an impressive 7 of 15 on three point shots. Massie finished shooting 33% including 1 of 9 on three point shots.

Kasey Uetrecht led the 3-1 Falcons with 18 points & Sarah Brackenmyer had 17 points.
