The Clinton-Massie Falcons won their second straight regional championship and advanced to the Division 4 State Final Four after defeating Milton-Union 35-7 Friday night at Centerville High School.

The turning point of the game came in the 1st period with the Falcons leading 7-0, but having to punt on 4th down. Punter Travis Daughtery picked up a low snap and ran for a 89 yard TD that made it 14-0. It seemed to jump start the Falcons as they added two more scores in the second period to take a 28-0 halftime lead.

After a 3rd quarter Bulldog score, the Falcons responded with a Bayle Wolfe 68 yard TD run early in the 4th quarter to nail down Massie return to the Final 4 & the teams 13th win of the season.

Wolfe led the SCOL champion Falcons with 194 yards rushing & Wyatt Running added 75 yards on the ground as the Falcons had a total of 395 yards rushing in the contest.

Milton-Union, who had rushed for over 400 yards in their playoff wins over Westfall & Norwood, had 154 yards rushing & 100 yards passing.

JD Curtsinger on defense had 2 interceptions for Clinton-Massie.

The #4th state ranked Falcons will find out their opponent on Sunday & the location of next Friday's state semi-final game.

Other Division 4 regional championship scores were:
Region 13--- Division 4 defending champion & #3 ranked Creston Norwayne defeated 6th rank Brookfield 49-28.

Region 14---#1 rank Bishop Hartley defeated #2 rank Ottawa Glandorf 41-31. Hartley won the Division 4 state championship in 2010.

Region 15---#7th rank St. Clairsville advanced after a win over Johnstown-Monroe 37-28.
