The Fayette County Pony League Football League has concluded their regular season, and now eye the post season playoffs.

RAZORS 12, COLTS 6
The Razors finished the 2012 Pony Football League regular season at 6-0 & will play in the PFL Championship Game on Saturday November 3rd at 7pm at Gardner Park.

Despite being held to under a 100 yards in total offense the team took advantage of 2 Colts turnovers in the game that helped in their victory.

Trevor Woods scored with 1:39 left in the 1st quarter on a 5 yard TD run. Later Bladeth Leaman added the game winner with seven minutes left in the game on a 1 yard TD run.

Kenyon Harris also caught a 24 yard pass as the team finished with only 97 yards in offense.

Bryce Downey had a fumble recovery & Jay Caudill had an interception.

Colts ran up 164 yards in offense but was able to cross the goal line only one time & that was late in the 1st half at the 47 second mark on a 1 yard TD run by Andrew Batson.

Brady Hall led the team with 60 yards rushing & Tyler Taylor added 54 yards. Hall had a 15 yard reception & Taylor added 21 yards on another catch. Hall also picked off a Razors pass on defense.


VIPERS 20, LONGHORNS 6
The Vipers who have won three straight PFL Title games will go for #4 on Saturday November 3rd at 7pm when face off against the Razors.

On Sunday the Vipers even their record at 3-3 in the regular season as they ran up 218 yards in offense all on the ground.

Brandon Arledge rolled up 104 yards on 9 carries including a 60 yard run that set up the team's first score at the 4:41 mark with Jamie McCane scoring from 4 yards out.

Vipers added TDs late in the 2nd quarter on a 2 yard Austin Matthews run & in the 3rd period a 3 yard Kyler Matthews run.

Austin Matthews & Jamie McCane each added a PAT run.Arledge also had an interception.

Longhorns only score came on a 29 yard pass play from Eli Lynch to Eli Shaw. Lynch finished with 3 completions & 47 yards passing.

Caleb Hamrick had 11 carries for 29 yards as the Longhorns were held to 93 total yards in the game.

Pony Football Officials also would like to like to remind fans coming to the game that they will be collecting toys for the "Toys for Tots" program. Fans are encouraged to bring a new unwrapped toy to show your support for this program.
