Washington Council Hears of COVID Business Aid

Adhering to COVID-19 guidelines was the highlight of discussions in Washington Court House City Council Wednesday night.

In his report to the council, City Manager Joe Denen announced that COVID-19 aid applications for small businesses with 25 or fewer employees are now available. They can be obtained at the city administrative building and are also available on the city's website.

WCH Council made several appointment to area groups and committees. Kay Oughterson was selected to the Fayette Metropolitan Housing Authority, Mandy Miller to the Fayette County Planning Commission, and Mark Pitstick was named to represent the Joint Economic Development District Committee.

Lastly, council passed an ordinance renaming Mars Drive to Companion Drive.
