Development Hopes High for Fayette County

Commercial development will be taking place sometime in the future on a couple parcels of land in Fayette County. That follows a decision by the Fayette County Commissioners to sell 1.13 acres of County-owned land along West Lancaster Road near Jeffersonville and 1.13 acres along Old US 35 to BSTP Midwest LLC.

It’s unclear what the company’s planned commercial projects are, but according to minutes from the most recent Fayette County Commissioners meeting the projects are expected to create new jobs and tax revenue.
