Julie Bolender, President of Fayette County Chamber of Commerce, has news about shopping in Fayette County this holiday season. Fayette County has been selected again by American Express credit card company to be a "small neighborhood champion".
Bolender says that will lead to their pushing local eateries and shops in an effort to get residents to stay home and shop this Christmas.
Also, Bolender says retiring Fayette County Commissioner Jack Deweese and retired Fayette County Clerk Evelyn Pentzer will serve as grand marshals for this year's Holiday Parade on Sunday, November 25th at 3pm in downtown Washington CH.
