The Ohio State Highway Patrol was called to the scene of a two-vehicle fatal crash along State Route 73 in Clinton County that claimed the life of a New Vienna resident.
According to the State Patrol, the crash occurred around 9:00 a.m. on State Route 73 south of its intersection with Antioch Road, east of Wilmington.
Casey D. Daugherty, 20, was pronounced dead at the scene after his eastbound vehicle veered left of center and collided head-on with a westbound vehicle operated by Lou Guanfeng, 52, also of New Vienna.
Guanfeng was taken to Clinton Memorial Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
