OBWC Grants for Adams & Madison Counties

Adams County EMS and the Tri-County Joint Fire Department in Madison County will benefit from recent safety grants awarded by the Ohio Bureau of Workers' Compensation.


Adams County EMS is set to receive $40,000 to improve its patient transport process. The grant will fund the purchase of two chest compression systems, one power load system, and one power cot.


The Tri-County Joint Fire Department is getting $40,000 as well to improve its patient extrication process. The funding will allow the purchase of four telegrip rescue stabilizer struts with cinch rings, two rescue rams, two ram extension bars with threaded and slip angled heads, two bay chargers with batteries, one rescue spreader, one combination tool, and one energy pack.


A total of 110 employers statewide will share more than $2.9-million in Safety Grants from the Ohio Bureau of Workers' Compensation.
