Fayette County Health Department: Kindergarten Immunizations

All children entering kindergarten this fall must be updated on their kindergarten shots. Children can get their kindergarten shots any time after they are four years old. You child's school district may require that incoming students have all their shots completed before they can register for school.

If you are not sure whether your child's immunizations are up-to-date, please check with your child's physician and schedule an appointment to have them updated if needed.

Parents can also get their child's shots at the health department, 317 S. Fayette Street, Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Please bring your child's most updated shot record with you.

For more information, call the health department at 740-335-5910.
