China Cracking Down On Funeral Strippers

Back in the 1990s, some people in China started hiring strippers to appear and perform at funerals and -- amazingly -- it’s still a popular move today.

But not everyone is happy about this -- including the Ministry of Culture over there, which has announced that it’s cracking down on the practice.

It’s not the first time the Ministry of Culture has gone after “striptease artists” and other “obscene and vulgar performances” at funerals, as they’ve tried to fight back against the strippers a number of times through the years.

This time around, The Ministry of Culture set up a special hotline so the public can report any “funeral misdeeds” in exchange for a cash reward. (Telegraph)
