Debra Darlene Barton

Debra Darlene Barton, 62, of Washington Court House, Ohio died Wednesday, January 3, 2018, at 7:50 p.m. at her home.

Debra was born November 22, 1955, in Fayette County, Ohio to William and Norma Lee Williamson Frederick.  Following the death of her father, she was reared by her mother and step-father, Norma and Harold Null.  She lived most of her life in this community.

She had formerly been a bartender at Fayette Aerie #423 of the Fraternal Order of Eagles and had also worked at Showa in Mt. Sterling.

Debra was a social member of O. E. Hardway Post #3762 of the Veterans of Foreign Wars.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Benny Ray Barton in 2014; her father, mother, and step-father.

Debra is survived by three children, Scotty Frederick and his wife, Rose, of Washington Court House, Danielle Nichols and her significant other, Rich Harris, of Mechanicsburg and Shannon Barton of Columbus; 12 grandchildren, Braylon, Carter, Norah, Kayle, Kylie, Chynna, Tyler, Jake, Kennedy, Ryan, Zhylie and T.J.; three great grandchildren, Braxton, Kalani and Emery; a brother and sister-in-law, Bill and Jo Frederick; a sister, Kathy Knapp; special friends, Jessica Dixon and Missy Sword, all of Washington Court House; nieces and nephews, Tonda Simmons, Angie Shipley, Heather Bennett, Billy Frederick, Stacy Redding, Brady Simmons and Dalton Knapp and several great nieces and nephews.

The funeral will be Saturday, January 6, 2018, at 1 p.m. at the Kirkpatrick Funeral Home in Washington Court House with Barry Pettit, minister at the South Side Church of Christ, officiating.  Burial will follow in the Milledgeville-Plymouth Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home two hours prior to the service on Saturday.
