Juanita Mae Huff Shadley

JUANITA MAE HUFF SHADLEY, age 90, of Washington CH, passed away on Wednesday, January 3, 2018 at 12:30 a.m. at Court House Manor.

She was born on December 28, 1927 in Fayette County to Ralph and Ruth Knisley Huff. She was a 1945 graduate of Washington High School. Juanita retired in 1988 after many years of service at the Fayette County Memorial Hospital. She was a member of the St. Colman of Cloyne Catholic Church. She enjoyed attending all of her high school reunions, reading, and being with her family, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Juanita was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Paul Huff, and Horace Huff; daughter-in-law, Doris Shadley, and son-in-law, Robert Trimmer.

Survivors include her children, Robert Shadley, and Brenda Trimmer; grandchildren, Tiffany (Josh) Morrow, Heidi Frazier, William (Jeanine) Trimmer, Mindy (Jamie) Proctor, and Melissa (Chris) Bass; great-grandchildren, Avery, Mack, Emery, Dylon, Skyler, Riley, Nathan, Julia, Cody, and Jessie; and special friends and caregivers, Paula and Lori Moore. Also surviving are all of her extended family at Court House Manor including; Leticia, Patty, Tammy, Sandy, Barb, and her special nurses, Diana, and Betty.

The Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, January 6, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at the St. Colman of Cloyne Catholic Church with Father Michael Hartge officiating with burial to follow at the St. Colman of Cloyne Catholic Cemetery. Friends may visit at the Parish Hall on Friday evening from 4-8:00 p.m. The rosary service will be held immediately following viewing.
