Carl M. Hull, 84, of Wilmington, Ohio passed away 1:00 AM, Wednesday, December 6, 2017 at his residence. His first wife, Maxine Hull preceded him in death in 1983. His second wife, Bobbie Jo McIntosh Hull, whom he married July 4, 1978, survives. Carl was born September 20, 1933 in Clinton County, Ohio, son of the late Roy and Pearl Fields Hull. He was a 1952 graduate of Wilmington High School and served in the Ohio National Guard.
Carl worked as a mail carrier before working at the Wixson Pure Oil Station. From 1971 until 1978 he owned and operated Plaza Sunoco in Wilmington. He has owned and operated Plaza Wrecker Service since 1978. He attended Bible Baptist Church of Wilmington. Carl had unconditional love for everyone he met, and he believed in the adage, “If you can’t say something nice, you shouldn’t say it at all.”
In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons, David (Dawn) Hull of Blanchester and Billy (Tonia) Maxfield of Wilmington; Donna (Mike) Bell of Springboro, Dena (John) Snelling of Wilmington, Karlena (Chuck) Hull-Collins of Wilmington, and Kristina (Tony) Wilson of Loveland; his grandchildren, Kyle Harding of Wilmington, Joshua Harding of Wilmington, Bryce Wilson of Wilmington, Caylee (Tyler Hapner) Collins of Wilmington, Kelsee Collins of Wilmington, Lilly Maxfield of Lynchburg, Jayden Maxfield of Lynchburg, Caroline Wilson of Loveland, Molly Wilson of Loveland, Emma Wilson of Loveland, Elizabeth Wilson of Loveland, Nathan Wilson of Loveland, Patrick Wilson of Loveland, Emilee (Zach) Baker of Blanchester, Eric Hull of Fayetteville, and Izabelle Bell of Springboro; a great grandchild, Paislee Marie Baker; and innumerable friends. In addition to his first wife and parents, a brother, Herbert Guy Hull, and a great grandchild, Matthew Milton Hull, are preceded in death.
Funeral service will be 1:00 PM, Tuesday, December 12, 2017 at Bible Baptist Church, 55 Megan Drive, Wilmington, Ohio with Pastor Josh Dixon officiating. Interment will be in Clinton County Memory Gardens. Friends may call from 3:00 PM – 8:00 PM, Monday, December 11, 2017 at Bible Baptist Church.
