Donna Jean Miller

Donna Jean Miller, 87, of Washington Court House, formerly of Groveport, Ohio, went to be with her Lord on Wednesday, November 8, 2017, at 8:07 a.m. at the Fayette County Memorial Hospital where she had been a patient since November 4.

Donna was born January 4, 1930, at Massillon in Stark County, Ohio to Barrett D. and Marie Rogers Stottlemire. She was a graduate of Mineral Ridge High School and a 1951 graduate of Massillon City Hospital School of Nursing. She moved to Fayette County in 2014 from Groveport.

She was a retired registered nurse.

Donna was a member of the St. Paul Lutheran Church in Ashville and was a past worthy matron of Sunshine Chapter #89 of the Order of the Eastern Star in Jefferson, Ohio.   She and her husband, John, were avid quilt makers and she organized the Angelic Quilters of Groveport Zion Lutheran Church where she was formerly a member.  Donna enjoyed and was known for her culinary artistry.

She was preceded in death by two husbands, Dalton H. Touvell in 1966, and John N. Miller in 2014; a son, David A. Miller in 1999; a son-in-law, David M. Craig in 1994; by her nursing sisters of the Massillon City Hospital School of Nursing, Percie, Nona and Becky.

Donna is survived by a daughter, Daltonna H. Craig-Crawford and her husband, Jerry Crawford and his children, Curtis C. Crawford and Melissa (Joel) Crawford-Smith; two grandchildren Kevin Craig and his wife, Aimee, of Groveport and Jill Craig of Nairobi, Kenya; three great grandchildren, Kendall Rebecca Bickett, Avery Alison Craig and Joseph David Craig; sisters and brothers-in-law; nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends in Ashtabula and Holmes Counties.

The funeral will be Sunday, November 12, 2017, at 4 p.m. at the Kirkpatrick Funeral Home in Washington Court House, Ohio with Pastor Jay Lucas, minister at Grace Community Church, officiating.  A graveside service will be held Monday at 11 a.m. at Obetz Cemetery.

 Friends may call at the funeral home Sunday from 2 p.m. until time of the service.
