PATSY ANN DILLEY ADAMS, age 65, of Washington CH, passed away on Monday, November 6, 2017 at 8:03 a.m. at Fayette County Memorial Hospital.
She was born on October 19, 1952 in Fayette County to John Albert and Rosemary Alice Brown Dilley. Patsy had worked as a cashier and a caregiver, but her most important job was taking care of her family. She was a member at the New Martinsburg Community Church. She enjoyed going to yard sales with her sister, shopping, going out to eat, and being with her family and grandchildren.
Patsy was preceded in death by her father; siblings, Victoria Dilley and Sonya Dilley; nephew, Adam Queen; and special friend, Rachael Duncan.
Survivors include her husband, Gary Lee Adams, whom she married on December 31, 1975; her mother; children, Richard “Joey” (Penny) Myers, and Jason (Christy) Adams; grandchildren, Derek Joel Myers, Leevi Myers, Skyler Lee Adams, and Braydon and Heighley Moore; siblings, John Dilley, and Roxa (Frank) Queen; nieces, Ashley Dilley Rohrer, and Sydney Queen; nephews, Nicholas Queen, Johnny Queen, and Aiden Roher; and special friend, Retha Payton.
The funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 9, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. at the Summers Funeral Home with burial to follow at the Highlawn Cemetery. Friends may visit at the funeral home on Thursday morning from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service.
