A Washington CH City Council member recently praised the passage of a levy that allowed the city to help combat its local drug problem.

Kim Bonnell, who is running for re-election to Washington CH City Council, said the levy "Because of the taxes, we were able to hire more police officers. We have more police on the streets, we have a task force that works very hard. We are also educating people because we know we have a drug problem".

Bonnell added that "We have to take care of this problem and keep working at it until the problem is solved".

Electon day is November 7th.
