Come out and join us as we welcome the gospel music group "Sounds of Hope" to the stage at Rose Ave. Community Center Friday, August 18, at 7:00 P.M. Featuring great live Southern Gospel music, this spirit filled group's mission is to be disciples of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ through music and to share God's Love and His message through song. They began singing together in 2011 at The Chapel of Hope in Greenfield, Oh. where they also attend. The group consists of Marva Fleak who sings alto and serves as the song leader at their church, Marvin Johnson, who sings tenor and is assistant song leader, and Tammy McClintic, who sings soprano and serves as youth leader at the Chapel of Hope also. Their passion is to use their God-given talents to sing praises to our Lord & Savior, Jesus Christ, to deliver sounds of Hope to those in need of Salvation, and to share the message that Jesus is the only Way to have sweet peace & the blessed assurance of a Heavenly home someday, and that Jesus is our only Living Hope! John 14:6 tells us, "Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." That is our Hope in Jesus Christ! Come on out and join us for a great time in the Lord as we sing praises to Him together!
Gospel Music Family Friday is an outreach of Rose Ave Community Center & Church, presented every Friday at 7:00 P.M., doors open at 6:30 P.M. Bringing different local, regional and national singers, musical groups and recording artists to the stage each week, all for the glory of God, we offer free admission, free food & drinks, and free shuttle service, in town. To help support this ministry, a free-will offering will be received. Rose Ave Community Center is located at 412 Rose Ave., in WCH. For transportation please call the office at 740-636-ROSE(7673) before 5:00 P.M. Fridays. Join us every Saturday at 5:00 P.M. for a free community meal & contemporary worship service in a relaxed, come-as-you-are atmosphere. Featuring an upbeat & relevant, Bible-based message from Pastor Justin, doors open at 4:30 PM. Free transportation is also available for this event by calling the office before 3:00 P.M. Saturdays. Regular office hours are Monday-Friday 2:00-5:00 P.M.
