Myron G. "Bud" Clevenger

  Myron G. "Bud" Clevenger,

age 87, of Wilmington, Ohio, passed away late Tuesday night, August 8, 2017 at the Clinton Memorial Hospital in Wilmington. 

 

 He was born July 14, 1930 in Clarksville, Ohio son the late Garner L & Mildred Catherine (Thompson) Clevenger.  On March 23, 1949, he married Evelyn Rose Taylor Clevenger, who passed away on September 3, 2008.

 

 Myron had worked as a tool and die maker for the Randall Corp and Bennett's Sheet Metal, the Schliesser Tack and Repair Leather Work, had trained and raced standard bred race horses for 25 years, and had been a bus driver for Lebanon City Schools.  He was a member of the Wilmington Masons Lodge #52 F&AM. and the White Shrine or Jerusalem.

 

 Surviving are daughters- Brenda (Harold) Rolfe of Wilmington,  & Belinda Kay Doyle of Wilmington;  Four grandchildren; Nine great-grandchildren; special partner- Joycelyn Edwards, Wilmington; 2 sisters- Barbara Riehle, Lebanon & Janet (Terry) Zurface, Wilmington; brother- Richard (Donna) Clevenger, Sabina; and special friends- Dean & Sherry Shinkle & John & Mary Lou Lutner.

In addition to his parents and wife,  Myron was preceded in death by 2 brothers, 4 sisters and son-in-law- Gilbert Doyle.

Funeral Services will be held 10 AM, Monday, August 14 at the Fisher-Edgington Funeral Home, 97 West Locust Street at North Mulberry Street, Wilmington.  Interment will follow in the Milledgeville- Plymouth Cemetery, , Ohio.

Friends will be received from 2-5 PM, Sunday, August 13 at Fisher-Edgington Funeral Home, Wilmington, OH .
