Ruth Pickering, 80 of Hillsboro passed away Tuesday February 21, 2017 at the Laurels of Hillsboro.
Ruthie married Larry A. Pickering on August 4, 1957 in Bloomer, Ohio and he survives. Also surviving are four children, Von Joseph "Joey" Pickering of Hillsboro, Carol "LeeAnne" Pickering of Hillsboro, Laura (Jon) Pickering-Polstra of Hillsboro and Jonathan Jay Pickering of Washington C.H.; seven grandchildren, Quinn Alexander Pickering-Polstra, Zebadiah Jackson Pickering-Polstra, Bideon Jay Pickering-Polstra, Duncan Joseph Pickering-Polstra, Elena Juliana Pickering-Polstra, Wesley Matthew Pickering and Zane David Pickering-Polstra; one sister, Armetha Bell of Virginia Beach; a special friend, Rose Luschek and several nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held from 1:30 p.m. until 4 p.m. March 12, 2017 at Community Center, 110 South High Street, Hillsboro.
There will be no visitation.
