Adam John Queen

ADAM JOHN QUEEN , age 36, of Washington CH, passed away on Wednesday, February 15, 2017 at 1:13 p.m. at OSU East of Columbus.

   He was born on May 8, 1980 in Fayette County to Frank J. and Roxa Sue Dilley Queen.  He was a 1998 graduate of Miami Trace High School and also attended Laurel Oaks Vocational School to be a butcher.  He was most recently employed with Brown’s Concrete Company.  Adam played tri-county baseball for several years and played football at Miami Trace during Junior High and High School.  He enjoyed the great outdoors, fishing, camping, and spending time with his children.

   Adam was preceded in death by his grandfather, John Dilley, grandparents, Charles and Francis Queen, great-grandmother, Pauline Brown, and his aunts, Sonya Dilley and Victoria Dilley.

   Survivors include his wife, Judy Amanda Dunihue Queen, whom he married on April 1, 2009; his children, Sidney, Jonny and Hannah Dunihue; his parents, grandmother, Rosemary Dilley; brother, Nicholas Queen; aunts Patsy (Gary) Adams and Virginia Welch, and uncle John Dilley.  Also surviving is his best friend, Justin Tuttle as well as cousins, Joey, Jason, Skyler, Scott, Amy, Jamie, and Ashley and a host of friends.

   The funeral service will be held on Friday, February 24, 2017 at 3:00 p.m. the Summers Funeral Home with Jason Yoakum officiating with burial to follow at the Highlawn Cemetery.  Friends may visit at the funeral home on Friday from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the service.
