MIAMI TRACE 49, LOGAN ELM 31
Miami Trace used a 21-7 fourth quarter to clinch their 3rd straight win of the season. Jimmy Stroker continues to put up impressive stats as he rushed for 161 yards & 3TDs adding another 99 yards & TD on a 6 for 10 performance. Trevor Haines added 2 Panther scores.
Logan Elm Cory Heeter scored 3 times for Logan Elm who drops to 2-1.
WASHINGTON 24, WAVERLY 13
Blue Lions scored early & never let up in going to 2-1 for the season. Washington got a big run early in the contest by Tye Smith, which led to score on a 4th & goal on a short TD pass from Josh Williams to Kyle Garrett to take an early lead. About 3 minutes later after a Waverly score Travis Leisure on a reverse ran in the go ahead TD to make it 14-7.
Tye Smith added a TD run & late in the final period Noah Mesker hit a FG to make it 24-7. Waverly scored later but the Blue Lions ran out the clock to clinch the homecoming win.
Tori Merritt & John Feary were named the Queen & King of the Washington CH Homecoming weekend activities.
CLINTON-MASSIE 35, JONATHAN ALDER 7
For the 2nd year in a row the Falcons rolled over the Pioneers in non-conference football action.
Clinton-Massie was led by Bayle Wolf with 145 yards & 3 TDs & brother Chayse added 88 yards & 2 TDs. Clinton-Massie rolled up 291 yards rushing to Jonathan Alder 46 yards.
GREENFIELD MCCLAIN 28, ZANE TRACE 20
The Tigers go 3-0 vs. SVC this season. The Tigers were led by Thom Schrader who threw for 245 yards & 2 TDs. Alex Hollar caught 4 of those passes for 197 yards & both scores.
CHILLICOTHE 21, TEAYS VALLEY 0
The Cavs christened the "new" Herrnstein Field with 2 scores in the final period that proofed to be the difference in the contest. Nate Rosenbauer had 2 TD runs in the game.
WILMINGTON 49, HILLSBORO 0
The Hurricanes picked up their 1st win of the season by exploding for 156 yards rushing & 3 TDs in the 1st quarter & handed Hillsboro the loss.
Wilmington was led by Chris McEvoy with 132 yards & 2 TDs & Andy Fisher who rushed for 105 yards & a TD.
Hillsboro was held to a net of 35 yards in offense for the contest.
GREENEVIEW 46, EAST CLINTON 25
The Astros lead 25-14 at the half but the Rams scored twice within the first 2 minutes of the 3rd quarter that gave them a 27-25 lead.
Rams were led by Chance Frye who threw for 304 yards & ran for another 143 yards. He was a part of all 6 Rams TDs.
East Clinton was led by Dalton Floyd who threw 282 yards to 8 different receivers including Clyde Snow who caught 4 of those passes for 117 yards & 2 scores.
